Slightly late, a mix of technical issues with the translation and internet. Enjoy!
Be sure to check out Zerb’s first chapter of the original work.
Gu Qi Qi was disappointed with Zhu Fen’s video recording.
The video recording did not contain the scene, of the night when she was taken advantage of by the mysterious perverted man on the surgery table.
Where was that obscene video recording!?
Who dared to deceive her!?
“Where’s the rest of them?” Gu Qi Qi coldly asked as she pounded Zhu Fen’s head.
“Don’t hit me *SFX for crying*1, I’ll talk. The rest……were reportedly taken by the military…”
Gu Qi Qi’s eyebrow furrowed.
Wasn’t that the territory of that domineering impotent man?
Could it be that she had to dive right back into that trap??
Out of the question!
It looked like this matter would require extensive planning.
At the moment, the next important matter was…..
She changed the topic: “A moment ago, Gu Xue Xue mentioned her plan to frame me for the anesthetic mishap. What happened to that patient in coma now?”
“I know! I know about that!” Afraid of getting hit, Zhu Fen revealed everything without any hesitation, “He was reportedly taken back to the imperial capital by his family……”
The mega city located at the heart of the empire, thousands of miles away.
Gu Qi Qi, who was currently at Qingsheng, could only sigh in disappointment.
The beautiful sick man left just like that……
He rose from the dead when she gave him a life saving surgery. He could have some degree of conscience to repay her right?
Zhu Fen thought she was bothered by the anesthetic mishap matter and hurriedly pledged: “Gu Qi Qi, please spare my life. I promise I’ll plead to my father for leniency so he won’t charge you for……”
Before she finished talking, she was struck with a heavy blow. Her head turned to one side as she fainted.
Gu Qi Qi brushed the dust off of her hands while glancing at the Zhu Fen’s injured state: “So noisy! Your lowly life isn’t worth the effort for me to take.”
At the present, the next important matter was the admission selection.
If she was unable to alter the admission selection and attend the medical school, then altering her fate for vengeance would merely be empty words..
Now that the original plan had changed and that important person had already left, how could she manage to alter it?
Suddenly a tiny voice sounded in her mind: “ Hey hey, you can earn money, earn lots of money! With money you can just buy your own admission! Buy buy buy! All you have to do is collect……”
Gu Qi Qi’s heart skipped a beat.
This was not the first time she heard that tiny voice.
The last time was when she was inside the vehicle with the impotent man. The voice incited her to collect some “essence” from him.
Moreover, irritating the opposing party with “impotent” was considered a finishing blow against that domineering man.
Now that she thought about it, the act of provoking the domineering impotent man was for the sake of fulfilling the voice’s desire!
She swept across the patient ward with her alerted eyes.
Other than the two unconscious slag girls on the bed that she knocked out, there was nobody else around!
This voice……who was actually speaking?
Why was it near her ear, even though she couldn’t see anyone
Despite Gu Qi Qi being daring, her palm began to sweat…
Once she had second thoughts, she quickly calmed down.
She was reborn after returning from the moment of her bloody death, so could there be any other experience more frightening than that?
There was nothing to be afraid of!
“Come out, evil spirit. Did you lose your body?”
“I obviously can’t come out……”2
That tiny voice answered with a grievous voice..
Listening carefully, it seemed that the origin of the voice came from her inside mind rather than from the outside.
Dammit, could she truly be seeing a ghost- Was she possessed by one?
Gu Qi Qi rubbed her forehead: “Who are you?”
“I am your…little cutie3.”
Gu Qi Qi: “……”
Can someone tell her whether this is a fantasy world?
That voice sounded like a three year old child. Gu Qi Qi couldn’t help but recall meeting that little dumpling on the hospital corridor a few days ago.
Large black grape-like eyes with a strong and toned voice. That full sense of moe was truly memorable.
That thought started to spring out.
Suddenly, the little voice angrily said:” No No No, do not compare a three year old child to me! A single stripe on my shell is more than capable of wiping off a hundred year worth of stupid humans in seconds, okay?”
Gu Qi Qi was petrified
What is this ghost?
It even had a substantial existence??
Please forgive her for being a “stupid human”, she still needed some time to digest everything.
1. [In the text dialogue, there’s a crying sound text which originally translated as “Don’t hit me boo hoo”, but it sounded so awkward/ weird in the sentence. So I just use SFX as crying sound effect.]↩
2. [In the raw, the tiny voice likes to address itself as 銀家, which is a pun of 人家. It’s basically saying I in a third person, except it’s usually said by female/ children with an increased level of feminine/ cuteness. The added twist with this particular line is the replacement of person with silver as a pun. This makes the speaker associated with wealth/money theme, which is also aligned with what the tiny voice first said in this chapter. However, there’s no real English word/equivalent for this phase without drastically disrupting the sentence flow. Thus I have decided to ignore the third person/ silver phase, and translate it as a first person standard dialogue because it won’t make a difference with the plot/ storytelling]↩
3. [In the raw, the tiny voice identified as 小闊愛, which is basically an internet slag for something that is cute.]↩
